Summary : We've come a long way since .com, .net, and .org. Around a thousand new TLDs have been approved for use in the last few years. Many of the new neighborhoods lack adequate policing. At one end of the attack spectrum, shady domains are cranked out in high volume on certain TLDs; at the other, many of the new TLDs offer intriguing possibilities for new social engineering attacks.
