Establishment of the CyberSecurity Malaysia presented at AUScert 2007

Summary : Malaysia has created a trusted model which combines the strength of government, private sector and communities. Through the creation of a government linked company, not for profit, this corporatized entity helps to develop competencies and expertise faster to cope with the changing technology and threats. It enjoys the trust from government, private sectors and communities. As a technical agency, CyberSecurity Malaysia (formerly known as NISER), has become a complaint beureau for the Internet community as well as a reference centre in information security. The CyberSecurity Malaysia operates the MyCERT, which is the point of contact for cyber incidents originating and/or targeting Malaysia.
