Summary : Increasingly, individuals use mobile devices to communicate and access the internet. Mobile security is thus increasingly important, and so are the laws that govern mobile hacking and data privacy. This talk is for anyone who uses a cell phone or hacks a cell phone. Through the speaker's professional experience with phone hackers, mobile applications providers, law enforcement requests for location tracking, attendees will learn about cutting edge legal questions on this topic including: wiretapping/Title III, FCC regulations of IMSI catchers, jailbreaking and security, commercial and law enforcement access to device IDs and location data, cell tower triangulation and GPS tracking.
