Summary : ROPecker achieves both high detection accuracy and efficiency in ROP defense, without relying on source code, special compiler, or binary rewriting. A sliding window mechanism invokes the run-time detection in proper timings, which identifying sufficiently long chains of gadgets in both past and future execution flows.
